When we meet with you for the first time we will listen carefully to your needs. We will take whatever time is necessary to get to know you and your wishes. Only when you are ready will we work closely with you to develop the care and support plan that meets your needs and fulfils your life. We do not want to take away your independence – this is very important to you – we will try and enhance this and give you the support you so desire.
Our Care Visits
Initially, we will visit you in smart, professional dress and carry the appropriate identification so you know who we are. Although our staff will have uniforms issued we understand that some Clients prefer discretion and therefore will not insist on this. We believe that part of care is also about compassion and supporting your emotional needs and therefore our visits are not only about the tasks you wish us to undertake, so there will be no staff rushing away and this will allow for companionship time during your visit, because we will be developing a safe and happy environment that fits all the needs of Domiciliary care.
Working in the 21st Century
We aim to work in the age of technology by utilising up-to-date and secure on-line systems to keep your personal information safe and eliminating the need for unnecessary paperwork that often amasses in busy offices and is also not good for the environment. This includes the database we use to plan and administer the Domiciliary Care package, Client details, rotas and notes – also, monitoring staff travel and location, payroll, invoicing and administration.
